Hello-
I am new to this forum and to the sport and I need some advice. I am roughly 98kg. I have been paddling only 4 or 5 times, but feel that the harbor is going to get boring quick. I have surfed for over 30 years on short and long boards for what it is worth. Can anyone recommend which of these boards would be best for me. I know that I will take some on the head learning, but I want to buy the right size and just get it down. If there are other boards you recommend, please throw it out there. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hey Adam - welcome to the forum

I think your post might be a bit lost in this part of the forum as its a bit of a backwater.

Anyway, I am sure someone knowledgable will be along shortly to answer your question.

In the meantime, you might want to look back through the older posts under 'Stand up paddle - General'. For example, a couple of pages back there was this thread which part answers your question....

Hi Adam
I have ridden both and both are good boards, nice and stable, easy to catch waves on. The 106 wide AA would be my recommendation, a bit more manouvrable on waves and almost the same stability wise paddling around.
