Paddle Wear for Different Seasons: Options???

***Paddle Wear here for this thread includes the right gear for the right season and also compression gear.***

The mission starts now!!! For the good of the greater SUP community....and primarily myself....I'm going to start scouring the net for great paddle wear options for different seasons.

This gent below in the video basically says these things in quotation marks. I've added a few thoughts of my own in text without quotation marks:

#1: "Performance uplift/effect is negligible".
#2: "Focus on how good it feels on...." and when you move in the dressing room/area while doing imaginary paddle strokes. Maybe do some star jumps too.
#3: "Don't get too brand loyal."
#4: The market place for this type of gear is competitive (what isn't nowadays, hey?) so consider price too.
#5: "Don't be loyal to them (the brands) because they're not loyal to you. You need to be loyal to your wallet. Whether that's Skins, 2XU."



Disclaimer: There aren't many SUP specific options when it comes to apparel. We have to settle for a mixture of running, cycling, triathlon or even sailing gear at times. Keep that in mind.

i like BSC (Body Science) pretty good price and an Australian company, they just do compression wear but where i live you can get away with it all year, or vaikobi do a hot/cold range, i haven't tried it, so wouldn't mind some reviews etc if anyone here has

Agreed, I've used Skins and 2XU extensively but in my opinion, BSc is the best product of the three.

I use the vaikobi "V cold" long sleeve rashie and long pants with a merino undershirt in winter. Its all i need for sydney temps. Really good gear...
