do any 'real world' surfers have a Quatro Kai pro Board?

I was floored by the weight difference vs other carbon boards and trying to see if the difference is legit?

Backstory- in the winter in NJ its looong walk to good breaks with alot of wind and a few lbs shaved is great. and I havent met a carbon sup I havent prefered over poly or eps (prone surf dfferent story) i've never cared how stiff they are.

Anyone have any experience? I know AI isnt always right but found the following very intresting and trying to see if Quatro vs Acute Carbon is correct- heres what AI said for weights

I demoed an 8'4" Kai Lenny Surf Pro in Maui earlier this year. My Blurr V3 has a listed weight of 6.07kg and a (just now) measured weight of 6.6kg with a slightly damp pad, a set of Quobba fins - thruster and a buckle repair job on the top 1/3 of the board. I would venture to say the KLSP (with MFC fins, thruster), while still light, was noticeably heavier. Maybe +1kg, but that is based on my non-calibrated bicep scale.

Hey Jersey, I have had the 8'2 Quatro KL Surf Pro since March and I love it. It is an incredibly versatile board; in soft summer waves I run it with a MR twin + one and its looser and more fun than the SB Twin Fin and the Infinity B-Line Twin, both of which I have had as well. With bigger waves I pop in a thruster or keel quad and it's faster and more agile than my SB Pro (8'7). for such a narrow board it is really stable; mine is 116 l and I weight slightly over 200lbs, and it just feels grounded. It does come in at the advertised weight. The one gripe I have is that it has a really small handle which is a pain if you have bigger hands. But otherwise I am really sold on this board.

I have a Mid Length arriving in a few weeks and was wondering what fins everyone is using, the site recommends FCS II Power Twin + 1, Fin Set, L – XL. Has anyone tried anything else ????
