Picked up a new Quickblade Slim Jim from Eastcoast Stand Up Paddle a month or so ago, thought I'd throw together a quick review.

Hi, great review.
i also have the same qickblade Slim Jim and it is fantastic. a good mate of mine has also got the same paddle and advised me to get one. i have not looked back. The only advise i can add is dont cut the handle too short. my paddle is approx 60-70mm shorter than my mates and all thou its great once you are on the wave. The shoulder of my paddle hits my rail of my board up front on the start of the stroke. this causes damage to both the board and the paddle. i used my mates and that 60-70mm made a world of differance.
So as they say messure twice and cut once!!!

scottakasid thanks for the tip, been using my paddle for racing and downwind, so have left it full length at the moment.
