I am looking at new fins for my 9'2 speeed . I have read older posts and taken them on board but was wondering if the general consensus has changed or should I just order the moonrackers ? A longtime speeed rider suggested going smaller sides any help appreciated cheers

Love the speed. Not with trend but....Riding a smaller Speeed 7'3". @73 litres and prefer large to very large sides and medium to large centre. Shapers S9 sides and S7 centre works for me.
The larger Speeeds I have tried had the same principle as the smaller ones. For turning get the back foot right back and give it some. ????

On my 8'10 I'm using FCS PCC-7's..
Very nice fins IMO.
Haven't tried a smaller centre fin, might do one day (could take the centre fin out on my Flow, that's smaller again PCC-Mediums)
If you do try something different, let us know how you get on.

I have a little middle nubster fin I use in my 9,2 speed it turns really well and becomes loose feels like your sliding at times. I also have 8,10 speed but I keep the stock fins in that for stability..im over 100 kg and after a few waves on the 8,10 I like the added stability to keep my afloat out the back I haven't tried the nubster fin in the 8,10 yet...

I would actually like to see someone who is good at finless surfing, to try the Speeed or Creek with no fins. The channels seem like they might help someone with those talents!

Small waves large fins, big waves smaller fins.

I use the stock small ones they work well, but I am sure a good (read expensive) set would improve things marginally.

I put a set of shapers AM2 profile. almost exact shape to existing. middle marginally smaller.
performance, pretty much exactly the same, but the bright orange with black hex's look trick...

Will see how they perform in the Flow soon when WA is granted some swell or i get time to travel.
