No local distribution, you have to get them shipped in. If you are interested, Pm me and I can get you the contact info for the guy who got me my 8-8 Speeed.
Dunno about Waikiki but Sunova have a sponsored rider - Jacy Shimahara - who works on the North Shore at Sea & Board Sports. Might be worth contacting him, he's an awesome bloke, i'm sure he'll help if he's able...
Hi All,
Firstly i'd like to say hello, i'm a long time reader and first time poster..
I will clarify this now, as it seems to have been a topic of discussion in recent times, I WORK FOR SUNOVA AND HAVE A COMMERCIAL INTEREST (this is also stated in my bio just to be clear)..
However i will not be going around and using this site as a promotional tool,l am here to possibly answer questions that have previously been asked, which is why i am replying to this post..
If you're in Waikiki you can contact MOKU Hawaii, Give them a search on google and you will be able to get there contact details..
I'm not sure if they have any Sunova's currently in stock, but i know we have a few going through the production line for them now.. If they don't have the particular board you are after in stock, they will be able to get it shipped directly to you from Thailand for no extra charge (standard retail price)..
Hopefully this info helps..
Cheers, Dylan
PS. If anybody has Sunova related questions, feel free to PM me
Never seen one on or off the water in Hawaii for some reason ?????
James Casey won 2 of his heats at Sunset APP Pro, on his Sunova Insane.
Plus local Pro, Jacy is surfing the Sunova range as his daily drivers.
in the regular guy realm, I have some friends riding Speeeds on the South Shore

Not a whole lot of them out here, but some. There are a ton of local brands, including big ones like Naish, taking up most of the market share. You'll hardly ever see a JP board out here either. Cool to hear that someone is bringing some in now.
One thing I have learned surfing a Sunova on Oahu is that everyone knows Jacy somehow. It seems like every time I'm at a new break someone will mention that their friend rides for Sunova. That someone is always Jacy.
