I just got a 10 foot 29 inch Laird Pearson Arrow. 130 volume so I am trying to figure out what that means?

Internet info beginner 2 times weight(in kilos) = volume in litres that is if you weigh 60k your volume board should be 120 litres
intermed 1.7 " = " 60 102
advance 1.3 " = " 60 78
pro 1.0 ?
The distribution of the volume used to be of concern, but with current models this is not as worrying as older models

I started on an All Wave 9 2 which is 160 liters but weighed 100kgs. Now gone down to 137 still the same weight but came from a surfing background. But will never got to a 1:1 or 1:3 ratio. To lazy haha

130 litres volume means it will/should support around 130 kgs so if the board weighs 10 kg then a 120kg weight will see it close to going under. I am 85kg and find a 130l volume board pretty comfortable depending on width [29.5]. I did have a board that must have been around 80/85l volume as it would only float me while i was moving , once i stopped paddling it would sink. I sold it to a guy around 60 kg .

Should be sweet as on a board with 130l at your weight, just keep at it :)
