Hi,

I have a Nidecker Allwater Race 12'6" board. I'm not a racer. I use the board to catch small waves and cruise.
This is a 2010 board that came with a Powebox Fin. Although I need to buy a new fin, I can not find SUP fins with POWERBOX base.
The viable choice is to buy a windsurf fin.
Shortlist:

Weed
a) MFC WEED WAVE (G10)
b) MAUI ULTRA FINS WEED (G10)
c) MAUI ULTRA FINS X-WEED (Carbon)

Wave
d) MFC AR SINGLE (G10)
e) K4 3SW freestyle-wave fin (plastic composite)

(General areas around 250 cm2)

I'm not a windsurfer, so I'm not familiar with these fins. They look too thick...

I would appreciate your opinion.

Best Regards

K4 makes an excellent fin at any price but they don't offer their weed fins in Powerbox (yet?).

Wave fins are usually on the thicker side and weed fins are thicker too. Just the way they are designed.

Unifiber used to make a fin head converter that would mount a US box fin into a Powerbox or Tuttle. Maybe you can find one? Or do something similar with an old Powerbox fin?

Just put a K4 windsurf fin in my sup. Dosnt look like this one comes in power box though. They are a good cheap way of trying different fins.
