hi,

last year I had the naish kaholo paddle and height was "79" as indicated on the paddle....
this year I have the wave and the race paddle but the height indicated on both paddles are not the same....(if you put them together the '79'-height on the wave = '82' on the race)

what height do I take especially for the race paddle? just look for 'shaka' height or look on the paddle for the same as last year '79'?

big thanks!

I use the Race LE paddle and I cut it so when handle is in my palm my arm is fully extended. Some of the top guys cut them shorter but I find I have to crouch and bend back too much if I run it shorter...getting old...

I also use the Race LE as my wave paddle and there I just go 15cm over my head - insane having such a light paddle with so much grip when you want to catch a wave. Again, the younger guys go much shorter so they can manouver paddle between turns, but I hate paddling with such a short paddle.

hey peter, last year I did the same for my paddle but now I have taken 5 cm shorter....and my wave paddle 10cm...."shaka-heigt" as they say....we will see if this was a good decision :)
