Looking for best option want a allrounder board which is going to last the distance in build quaulity and performance in small waves 1 to 4 ft and flat water paddling with kids aboard (3 kids ages 2yrs to 8yrs) .ive demoed a 2010 mana 10' was happy with it but didnt get to try in waves.Im also going to demo psh hull aa 10'2 & 10,10 .the psh boards are cheaper but dont want to buy & find out build quality is cheap.
Before i saw the psh hull i was set on mana ast 2012 model but unsure now any feed back would be appreciated.
when wind is up i kitesurf but am keen to get into suping for the windless days any excuse to get on the water.(my weight is 80 to 85 kgs)

This is my friend taking her kid for a paddle on my old 10' Mana.. It's fine for small kids but it would be a struggle with bigger kids on board.. The 10'5" Mana would be better if you want to paddle with the bigger kids on board.

Not all boards have a vent screw.. My Mana does.. and yes they can fail and let water in but the ones that fail are usually the gor-tex maintenance free type.

btw.. my bamboo deck 2011 Mana has one of those (gortex plugs) and its been fine.. (touch wood).

Calbs in the last 12 months we have not had a Goretex vent screw fail on either a Naish or a PSH board. Gore vents are set-and-forget and an industry standard.

Which Naish boards have a Goretex valve?

Jon we have not seen any such issues here. My gore valve still bubbles away merrily after 18 months. I never touch it.
Sam, some of last years Bamboo veneer boards had Gore valves.
