How heavy are you.. and for what water conditions will it be used for.

I'm thinking the wider 14' Ace would be a great race board to go with your Coast Runner.

Do you mean the 27"ace.
Pt if I go for a sprint I will be buying new.

Is the ace much faster than the coast runner with it only being 1" narrower.the only reason I thought of the sprint is it seems to be a lot lighter than the ace.and the starboard brochure states the sprint is a lot faster than the ace.

I have the Coastrunner for down winding. I have just got the 14"x 26' Sprint for flat water only. Gave it a run in the ocean in 10-12kn breeze and it picks up runners really well. Wouldn't like to be out in any stronger breeze with it though. The Ace is a quick board but it doesn't track as well as the Sprint on flat water.

I can't give you a speed comparison on the K15, but like Jenks I also recently bought a 2014 - 14 x 26" Sprint. At the last paddle loop I completed the 4.2 K circuit in 28.01 minutes... however, two months earlier I completed the same circuit on a 2013 Sprint in 28.56 minutes, this is a significant advantage at any level or event! I weigh 92/93 kg and I also trialled the 14 X 27 sprint which I found virtually unstoppable downwind, unfortunately I can't get one prior to the DR run???

Woops... I actually trialled the 14 x27 "Ace" and with my 92/93 kgs I found it to be virtually unstoppable, picking up runners really easily and falling off far less than when on the 25 ACE
