I'm not one to discourage others from trying different boards but my experience with the Fusion when I was demoing 9ft boards, was I felt like I was standing on a cork. Great on a wave, if thats all you are going to do, drop in on short steep breaks. I am slightly lighter at 85 kgs and ended up with the Angulo 9ft which is also ridden by Bam Bam who is in the 100kg category. Can't say I have ridden a shorter SUP board but after surfing short boards this board feels like it is only about 7ft long. Food for thought.

My suggestions would have been the 8.10 widepoint or the hero.
