Thanks Todzilla good to know about the fin - mine is stock too but it might be slightly bigger, would probably fit though. But that got me thinking about how much the board will sit off the wall on the racks.
I've been back in the garage scratching around and I don't think it'll fit in front of the cars unless it's right up high, and with the board being 14kgs and my elbow being RS it might be too much of a struggle.
DJ - love your work but I don't have the end access due to panel door when fully lifted - I'd have to go across front of garage (over car bonnets).
I'm thinking the pulley system might have to do it, replace the rope and I might be able go get away with just shifting one car out. Thanks saJ.
I'm even thinking I could use some curved curtain track type thing, mount the pulleys on it so the whole lot travels, then I could lift/drop board straight, but store board sideways (across bonnets) or even drop it straight onto my car roof racks - with the panel door closed the pulley could temporarily encroach on the space the panel door needs to open.
