Hey guys,
After a little advice.
I've had an old South African made Flat tub of a board for a couple of years that's finally expired.

I'm looking for a 10' small wave cruisey board and have narrowed it down to a few options.

I'm 99% mind made up but wondered of any of you more experienced posters had anything to add.

I want to play in up to waist high waves and occasionally socially cruise the bay.
I'm reasonably experienced, weigh 83 kilos and go 178cm.

So, my options

Trigger Bros
Tuckerboards
Atlantis Halo

Thoughts, pros/cons

Thanks guys

Hi Stumpi. To be honest with you its the first time ive heard of these three makes of boards, so i looked them up. Tucker and atlantis seem to be priced around and under $1000.00. In short, youll get what you pay for. I watched a clip of a guy surfing the trigger and it looked to me by far the better of the three boards, but think of resale as well. For what you sound like you want id be doing a second hand naish, starboard, jimmy lewis in the 10' range. All have great boards that surf well and you can cruise around on. Youll find yourself enjoying the surfing side so much youll be wanting to sell it and update to a better board, and youll find them a lot easier to sell.IMO of course

I agree with your comment re looking for a second hand top brand name board but easier said than done. I have been looking for a while in the sub $1000 price range for a 10' surf/cruiser board for some time all to no avail. Almost prepared to give up and go the cheaper brand route.
