Noosa May-fiesta includes a SUP Race, EXPO & Rodeo Style Racing.

Any one heard more about this event.

Weekend of the 22nd & 23rd so before the Roar Comp.

USM Events is Running or merging 3 events into one to make it a super weekend.

They have 8 events Swimming, Biking & Running and they are looking at including SUP paddling.

Looks like it will be around Witta Circle - which is basically Lions Park so good spectator viewing.

Based at Lions Park with a Expo & Entertainment Programme

SUP Rodeo would be great, a couple of people at one end of a swimming pool with boogie boards making waves and see who can stay on the longest
Getting a horse or a bull onto a SUP would be just plain ridiculous...

Two big buoys set up and you have to race a figure 8 round then fastest time wins.

In conjunction with USM Events on the 22nd May The Winter Festival.

The Winter Festival in 3 disciplines being run on the same weekend.

Noosa Blue 2 km Ocean Swim
Noosa Century Bike Ride
Noosa Half Marathon.

They have added The 1000 Flat SUP Paddle race around Witta Circle.

Snr Masters 50 - 59
Vets 60 +

From Cadets - Vets both Male & Female

Cost $35 - Entry forms will be up soon via web site.

The $35 will get you into a Age group & either a Specialty Event or Hot Lap (Hot Lap is two big buoys set up and you have to race around them in a figure 8 to get the fastest time)

It is due to run from 2pm - 5pm on the Saturday 22nd.

There is also a Expo for SUP Manufactures on both Saturday & Sunday.

We have had interest from Coreban / DC to put up race boards to race on - This is the Specialty Events - everyone on the same boards in each heat.

Prize Money & Gift Bags
At the Moment each division will have prize money of $200 (1st $100, 2nd $60, 3rd 40)

We are also looking at a club challenge if we have time as an extra
