Yes I'm seriously thinking about a board, one just for cruising the canals.

So do SIC make a board with these dims or Fanatic?

Second hand in good nic would be ideal.

Hi Mac... there's 12'6 SIC in the buy and sell section. 29.5 wide. 2nd hand and top nick, the seller says... It's on the Sunny Coast.
Make sure you get one that you can surf on.

Hey Mac, The older Fanatic Fly race is 12'6" x 30". These are white compared to the newer models that are red. They paddle nicely and catch a wave without too much effort. I paddle one and use it on flatwater, ocean paddling and distance. Suits me but I am no hero. There is one in the Buy and Sell at the moment in Burleigh. $1400 but you should be able to get it cheaper than that. Good luck.
