If there is an event not to miss this year in France, it is unquestionably the SUP Race Cup 2010 that will take place on 29 and 30 May next Sainte Maxime in the Var Bay!

Recognized by the recent association of EuroSUPA, the SUP Race Cup 2010 sunday's 14km race will be the first SUP race European championship
Becoming an european version of the Battle of the Paddle, the SUP Race Cup 2010 will propose three races with a relay Saturday morning followed by an afternoon race.
Sunday will be the more serious one with the 14 km long distance race starting from Saint Tropez!
Saturday's events are limited to class 1 (12 ' 6 "max).
Sunday, classes 1, 2 (between 12 ' 7 and 14 ' 0" ) and 3 (14 '+ ) will all be on the starting line.
And with some 5000 ? of price money, this event will certainly attract some paddlers.

did not get all the results yet but rico leroy won the 14' category on a DC and finished 2nd overall !. It shows that our local boards are again doing pretty good when they travel and can compare to anything abroad

You are maybe right but it's their 1st year and I think everything went a bit quick.
You should contact them and let them know I am sure they'll do better next time specially if they get inputs from everybody

would be nice if next year it was advertised on some uk forums? i saw it on here a few days before the event started! not really good enough if its advertised as the european title. dont think many if any in the uk knew about this event.
