Too small to ride on the normal gear so we too out the 14' 16' & 20' flat water crusers, it worked better than expected.

i,ve done that on my old 16', well a bit bigger than those waves. i bet everyone was hooting on their rides. now that's i call real glide

you have the coolest toys...

.. next make a 10' 40" and get two people paddling on it...!

An interesting fact, these small waves were moving at 13k's in the shallow bay, the faster boards 16' & 20' could be paddled at the same speed as the wave.
Max speed across the face of these monster waves was 19.3k's
Was a heap of fun being able to catch waves you could hardly see in deeper water.

Now get stuck into that down-wind board that you've been going to make.. You would have loved the down-winder we did today.

Yeah these big boards can be a lot of fun in small waves , here is a really crap vid i took the other day surfing my dc17.
