Yeah Hilly Sups are only able to do the 4km section. Once you click to register it comes up with a Sup entry after the skis etc...
I dont see any mention of a maximum size though.
Could be a good time to demo the K15...

Sounds good, I am in.

Would be good to know if there are any race categories or whether it is just a rock up and paddle type event no matter what length board you are on.

Either way I am stoked to just partake.

Looks like theres only one catagory/division. All in together. Prizes for 1st,2nd,3rd.
This is the first year they have had Sups so hopefully if we have a good turnout they might run different divisions next year.
Its a start at least.

Sounds like fun. Might enter on the 9'6" for a laugh & some camaraderie. Could always sneak up on Hilly from behind, whack him over the head with the paddle, & "borrow" his 12-footer

Demoed the K 15 over the weekend and that board would fly in this race.

Might have to get in early to demo it for that weekend.

The incoming tides more of an issue through that part of the river cause its so narrow. At least the start time is almost at the end of a lowish high tide so there wont be too much movement.
So Zimbo does this mean your Pin is going to be sitting around all lonely like?
I might have to "babysit" it for you.

hahah Jenkz I could not bring myself to "cheat" on my baby the Pin by using another board even if it is a Starboard.
