Has anybody heard whether there is going to be category or division changes in the sup race? In particular whether the classes are going to change i.e open etc. ? I was looking to race but need to place an order soon for the open class. Any help appreciated

My guess is that the sup division will keep getting bigger and stronger. As for classes, I reckon it will stick with 12'6" and open. I don't think there are enough numbers in this country yet to warrant a separate 14' class. When it comes down to it though, its all about the engine as the last 2 winners have been on 12'6" boards and beating guys on unlimited boards.

The best thing to do is to email/call Deano and explain to him what you would like to see the race develop into. Getting the type of race what you want is what will eventually attract more numbers.
