Yes is the answer 74kgs is about the limit but this board rips. yes it is tippy i will not lie but i surfed it in 10-15 knots of onshore wind and fell off once. My legs did work hard but i loved it and have been waiting for bit of a challenge. On a wave this board is unmatched IMO so far. Feels the closest to my surf board i think i will get. It's still easy to get waves.

Will be out at the Alley in the morn if anyone wants to see me fall off or have a go for themselves. We have some photo's of the 8'10 and 8'0 besides each other i will put on soon.

Jacko

P.s wazza will tell how it goes with 90kgs on it

Went out today at the Alley today with a very excited Jacko on his new 8'0 Naish.
On first looks I thought this is a shortboard thruster that I used to ride before SUPing.

Great looking overall shape and profile.

I was lucky enough to demo the new 9'4 Jimmy Lewis with Jacko so we were both frothing to get wet.

We caught the first wave together, with me being on the inside( Jacko couldn't help himself ) and of he went down the line banging the lip of a small peeler, while I cruised behind him on the JL watching.

I caught a few on the JL and was very impressed with the speed down the line and also the ease coming of the top and back around into the white water. At 90kgs the 9'4 JL is very doable

Jacko was firing a few off as well and was finding the 8'0 Naish the challenge that he has been looking for from a shortboard SUP.

I had a go at paddling it back across the creek and at 90kgs the board sunk down to my knees....so all you heavier guys forget it!.

Definitely a board for a guy 75kgs or less IMO.

So Jacko are you kicking Ang out of the bed tonight so that you can wake up next to your new toy??????

Sambo did well on the 8'0" at 82 kg. My lard 95 definitely is too heavy. Maybe once I get my summer bod on? not!

Log, I would say that your not really gonna have much fun paddling at 90kg. It would be one sweet ride once on a wave, but getting through white water and the like would likely kill you. At 82 kg, when sam stopped paddling he went down, down, down til splash. So at 90kg, you definitely couldn't stop, and not just leasurely paddling, but flat out power paddling.

Jacko and i swapped over at the end of the session this morning. I did have to fight him for a go LOL.

At 62kg i had no problem floating the 8'0, i did only paddle it around in flat water but i'm hanging to steal it off him for a wave over the next few days. My feet were still out of water but get me in some chop and i think it will be differant.

Jacko seems to get better on it every day and this morning he was making it look damn EASY!

You need a bigger shop Ang, but those Naish shorties will be walking out the door
