the 8 with its narrow tail and overall slim outline may handle larger sized waves a bit better than its blown up sisters the 8'10 and 9'3 naish

its just a case of the glide or lack of glide to paddle into the beasts that may govern the choose of weapon for the job

have you riden the 11'6 naish gun in some juicey big stuff yet

i had a go on it in sydney once but it was 1/2 ft

now that thing wound fly around some meaty sections out the alley on its day

its not by choice

but i use the 9'3 naish up to around 8ft

then swap it for more paddle power around that size and beyond for my ye old trusty 10'6 naish and jam that back fin as far back as i can get it

i'll rob a bank soon and get myself a pin tail gun and about 20 other boards and a round the world ticket and a helicopter 3 jet skis a new hummer and a couple of new houses so someone else can finish my house reno and i can get back to just surfin drinkin and generally just being a bum

I will use this 8'0 when it gets big i think, wont know how it goes until i try it in some bigger stuff other wise i'll try and get my hands on a 11'6 gun and see how they go..

Got a few more out take shots i'll load up later of me eating some siht and testing out the strength of the board which so far has passed with flying colours.

This board has really opened my eyes to what boards people can ride if they have the time and patience's to learn.

Hopefully some filming will happen soon until then photo's will have to do.
