11'4" Nalu vs 10' Mana. Very different animals.

11'4" has very nice lines, and follows those lines on the wave. You can really drive this board off the rail, and get some awesome longboard style performance. Nose rides excellent. Good glide and paddling speed.

10' Mana. Short and fat. Very stable. Paddles fast and had surprising awesome glide. ON the wave, it is a little more punch. It is really amazing how hard you can throw this board around, but it's not the drivey rail driven turn of the 11'4". So probably suit small guttless waves where your struggling to make the most of what you've got. And focussing on ease of use.

Persoanlly on a performance side, focussing on better quality waves I would prefer the 11'4". But for a second board to use in really crap surf and to suit taking my kids riding and getting my wife on the water the 10' Mana really ticks all the boxes, Great performance, easy to use and fast enough to catch anything.

Best to try both (everything), and see what tickles your fancy. I am going opposite ends of the spectrum, 8'10" Hokua and 10' Mana.

I tried the 8'0" on sunday. Was funny. I weigh about 95+kgs x 6'3". The board fits under my arm like a short board. I had to take a running start, then paddled like hell, I had done two full 360's before I got the board up on top of the water enough to change sides, resulting in another 360 in the other direction. It was at this point I decided this board is way too small. I can imagine PJ will love this board.

Swanie..... yep.. that was the 9'5

Drewsta.... mate its a hard board to ride... well thats what i found anyway.... definately a HP board for the bigga brudda (115kg+).... not as stable as the whopper but man is it fast.... couldnt even get the board back around for a cutty on the lip it was that fast... struggled hard out at longreef... board was fast on the drop in and with the slippery pad my feet were never stable... I also doubt its 190L.... whopper floats me better... even the SB 9'8x28.5 floated better.... but thats my opinion anyway... and im a fat man (115-120kg).... haha... have the board until tomorrow so i get another surf on it in the morn.. YEW!!... think it might take some getting used to... but man it'll be a great board for a lighter bloke!!

That is a nice naish, even if i must admit it.

WOW it has such a wide tail compared to the wopper eh'

It looks so much different on its own.

It looks like they have put 50 litres in the tail.

Is this one the Mana 9'5"? How come the nose looks so much narrower than all the other pics?
