I know there are a few of you out there now, so maybe it's time to get together one weekend and get something going.
There are a few guys doing a regular Sunday session on the lake.
The local Canoe Club is running a 24 hour race November 6/7 and would welcome a sup team/s challenge A relay team of 6 with 5km legs is not too hard and you get to camp by the river in the middle of Canberra.
We are running a demo day on Sunday November 14.
There are plenty of us doing day trips for coastals and it would be good to get some downwinders happening. Maybe Broulee to Moruya in a nor-easter later in summer.
If you have mates / partners who want to give it a go, we have some hire gear so you can go for a cruise together.
There is a bit going on already but there is potential for us to get the local scene up and running.
