Was having fun on a nice little 1- 2 foot peak on my big old barge by myself this morning.Old mate on a boogie board paddled out up the way from me a little and as I was paddling back out from a wave he slid over to where I was ,then proceded to tell me not to come near him and get that thing away from him ,theyre dangerous !
After I picked my jaw up from the deck of my board I kindly explained to him how large a stretch of coast it was and he should take advantage of that as there was now a good chance he would be run over , however not a very good chance it would be an accident.
First time anyones had a crack at me in the surf , a bloody boogie boarder , f---en hilarious

Just had to share that one

Take 100 people - non surfers

give them:
fins and a Boogie board

Yup.... not too tough..... so a chuckle and a well placed pivot turn, are all he deserved.

When I got my first longboard in the early 90's, all the short boarders were whinging, even though we still rode short boards when it was bigger. If people don't have the right equipment for the right conditions, stuff em! As for speed humps, I usually find a big cutback close to them, gets them to move.

You could also have added that you're probably not as dangerous as the white pointer the boys saw out there yesterday, that should make him thonk about his shark bicky and feel all gooey towards your barge....

I paddled out the Northern Beaches yesterday and before I had even caught a wave the one other surfer out there abused me for snaking him and being a typical sup. The surf was 1 foot slop and I was paddling out through a rip and therefore ended up inside of him. Predjudice. He assumed I was a kook. Horrible way to start the day.

A little while back I paddled out through the rip of a break I surf regularly. There were only a few out and I always paddle to the outside and pick off the leftovers.
As I got out the back a short boarder told me to F off. I replied with a suitable greeting and continued to move down the lline although I thought of going inside just to piss him off but thought that would just make it harder for the other guys.
I watched this guy snake everyone in the line up
Im sure we have all seen arcewholes on all manner of craft. Its not what they ride FkWitts are Fkwitts unfortunately this includes too many Sup surfers

My reply went with a line something like this " Finally, it's such pleasure to meet you, after 50 years of surfing I finally get to meet the guy that owns the ocean. I'm really surprised I haven't run in to you before . I'll try and run into you more often"
I really did say that and then all hell broke loose and nothing pleasant was said after that.
