Well when I woke up and saw the swell and the wind the words ROOOOOOOD TRIIIIIIIP went straight through my mind!

I woke Kristi and we raced to OGMB, I had spoken to Revvin last night and we hooked up with him in the car park.

HMMMM good size but usual OG close outs, lets go to Roadknight!!!!

We dropped in at a few locals on 13th and kept shakin our heads then straight to Roadnight.

Well we stopped at the Anglesea look out looked at it breakin on the point. Lets hit it!

Revvin hit the water before Kristi and I even go into our wetsuits and he was gone stroking out over the morning glass.

It was 2-3 ft at the point and glassy and pumpin them out like a machine.

Revvin's surfing has gone up a step since he changed the center fin in his board and he got some great rides including the smoker to go back in. It must have been 200+m almost all the way to the beach.

I spoke to Revvin later and he was still frothin like a grommet over his ride back in, god I love surfin with that guy!

To cut a long story short we got there about 7.30 - 7.45 and left at 1.30ish. The only reason we left was Kristi was wasted and sitting on the beach her poor noodle arms would paddle no more! I was hardly able to stay upright on the board I was wasted and fell of in the shorey 4 inchs deep as lay there for about 3 mins just laughin.

I got one inside smoker that I used up all the tricks and energy I had left on, I think LSD may have gotten a pic or 2??

This was a back side drop on a clean 3fter

Other breezers we hooked up with there:

Oliver who got some great waves man neva stops smiling! We kept callin each other into waves.

LSD and his son, LSD was still carving it up when we left, he has the point wired!!!!! Happy Birthday to LSD's Son its his Birthday today. LSD takes of so close to the rocks the crabs scuttle away as he paddles in!

Plainsailing very shy and retiring NOT!

Brett from Surf Coast SUP who may also have some other pics and 2 others who I dont know there names or avatars.

Not one harsh word just lots of smiles hoots hollas and encouragement what a cool vibe and an awesme morning.

Still stoked, just for a change.

Phill

Yep, it was as close to perfection down there today, glassy and sunny. I didn't get to meet up with Revin or LSD, but I met Paul, there were lots of subs out and waves for everyone. I'd say some of those rides were much longer than 200m - too much fun.

Caught the four longest rides of my short SUPing experience, and had the big girl going the fastest she ever has on the last ride in and my biggest of the session, still grinning now. My shoulders and elbow have told me its time to upgrade the nexxxt crowbar.

Its good having someone to surf with because I probably would have settled for lesser waves if I was on my own and wouldnt have done the trip down to roady, and its always a laugh around OG Phill.

Would have been good to catch some of the other breezers but had a family catch up in barwon heads (was running late so made record time).

YES !!! Great morning was had by ALL. Funny
thing was seeing other breezers and knowing their
names before I even met them.
I had to leave at 12.00 so only a few hours of
roadnight perfection. Im looking forward to winter
when we get more of that size swell and light winds.
Great to meet Phil, and Oliver. Oliver was having a
great time with the long rides (actually we all were)
But I sensed he was enjoying them the most. Oh I
also saw SURFEE CHICK catch some rippers. But could
tell that some more pushups required in those arms.
Dean and his son charging as usual. Great VIBE good
waves what else matters .....
Paul.

PMSL at rides longer than 200m

Gee Guys I was using my PORTLAND / Hawaiian ruler.

I did a google earth thing and maybe 350m ish is closer to the mark!

I know I got one ride from the point really early that I eventually fell off because I couldnt swoop glide or cut back anymore pmsl.

Surfee Chicks usual board is now back in action so we are all in trouble now. The 8'9 is her baby ( Pink Black Blue and White Tiger Stripe) and with a new fin set, hmmm dads in more trouble.

I had to laugh when this guy paddled over to Surfee Chick dont know his name and said how long is that thing your riding and she said 8'2 he looked on boggle eyed as she kick turned into a wave and disappeared He paddled away shaking his head muttering something about SUP being the territory of old bald guys?

Love to see the look on his face when he sees a 7'2!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to secret spot called wonderlands tomoz wooooooo hooooooo

Kristi has already packed her things and lunch and is sleeping in the lounge in case I dont wake her up!
