After all of the summer like weather we've been experiencing recently, I thought it was timely to finally put my snow/sup vid up!

This was taken a few weeks ago. As mentioned in a previous thread, the water temp was below 5 degrees and I managed to entice a couple of good friends to try paddling for the first time! Albeit, in waters that would render you suffering hypothermia within 5 mins if you binned it and fell in!

Thanks to PT Woody for doing the edit and Planty for getting our boards to the frozen water's edge.

*hope putting this up works. I haven't attempted it before. here goes!

Ha! Actually, I did throw in a few kick turns! [ gingerly. But PT obviously left it on the cutting room floor!]

DJ, I reckon it would be an epic trip to do as a group. There are alot of different areas of Rocky Valley to explore and a few perfect finless, snow opportunities across the other side to exploit as well.

A funny, but true story. A mate got a mini-iceberg jammed between his fins whilst paddling on the dam last week and couldn't dislodge them! The risks of snow paddling!
