Summer has finally decided to come to Melbourne...and it's about time..

The beach at St Kilda was going off today..and I took some pics.

I don't know what happened here..I was just walking along and my camera must have gone off..

I must have let at least 15 people have a go of my board today as I paddled around for about five hours of Summer bliss.

What is it with kids and these boards.. They seem to love them.. This kids parents were rapt that I took their son for a paddle in the shallows..

Hurray for Summer..

Also had a great day on the bay and had a buch of people go for a paddle. The highlight was 6 little kids on the board at once. Hooray for summer

Looks like a full house! Are they all a result of the growing unemployment figures?

Jaws was on tv yesterday and the only thing missing in the second last pic is a fin!
Oh, sorry there is one in the shot!

DJ, that second girl ,is she giving you the fingers?Because the first girl is going to spit gum at you!

Nope. In Melbourne we value good weather and when it comes around we get out and really enjoy it - it's a great place to be when the sun is shining. I don't really think the GFC has had that much of an impact on us in Vic yet.

Thanks Rod and yeah it is pretty nice.. They have fixed up the St Kilda area heaps over recent years.

And yes it was a flat day.. as always.. cos it's a bay beach.. we only get waves when it's windy or when a big ship goes past..
