Just got in from another 3hr session out at Bridgewater, classic conditions today for suping , little bit smaller that yesterday but still around 3ft on the sets with long clean puchy waves. I caught some waves today well over 200m long rides, both on my backhand and forehand, glassy and just me and a mate out, i doesnt get any better than that, i had my 6 8" in the car and thats were it stayed, i normally wouldnt bother going out on my small board, but on the sup it was awesome fun, started planting my backfoot hard over the fins and cranking out some nice turns on the boat.

Nice...For me its the joy of only three of us out, having a good time catching a few waves, a bit of a chat, swapping boards, and a perfect west oz winters sunset without a cloud in the sky.

Hey hawk and greeny how is it fellas? spoke to soon, i wretched my knee today on a late takeoff on my backhand I hyper extended it and could not even paddle in, had to lay down and drift in. Elevating it and iceing it hoping it hasnt done any serious damage, just before it happened i caught a smoking late drop takeoff and made it and got a fast 200m ride, so i geuss its not all bad

Sorry to hear about your knee Brooko..I wrenched my knee last Saturday at Torquay and have had a compression bandage on it the last few days.

It's a bugger getting old....I hope it's ok..and remember..RICE.

BTW..you've had a great couple of days in the waves and I've had a great couple of days on the bay..Not quite the same as you but still good..

One of my friends saw me out on the water yesterday and he said "the only ripple on the bay was the wake off my board"..
