Left my Kialoa Methane resting against a tree last Sunday morning, didn't realise till I was back in Melbourne the next day. Doesn't have any stickers at all, searched for it but not there - if I don't get it back hope its gone to a good home! I've had it for over a year and it's done a heap of paddling (most days) so I guess I've had my moneys worth. DJ and I were talking today about how it would be pretty smart to label paddles and boards with name and mobile, I'm sure most people would do the right thing and give you a call if they found them.

Good luck Jonathan, hope you find it.
Hey thanks again for that hot wire details. I have been so busy the last couple of months, I only built it tonight but it works a treat. Thinking of making a displacemnet hull 12'6" race board which will be a challange so a good hotwire will be essential.
cheers

I always loved this activity for it's simplicity, all you really need is a board a paddle and a legrope. I've left a legrope behind before, and plenty of people have lost paddles. I may put a sticky in my car that says:

1. board
2. paddle
3. legrope

That should solve it. I hope you get it back Johathan, or as you said - I hope it goes to a good home.

On another note: Maybe this is best answered by a bush mechanic.... How do you reckon those carbon paddles would work as one of those pizza flippers in a home made pizza oven? I've been thinking of converting my naish alloy into one.

(Thats all some paddles are good for!)

Jonathan....its worth leaving your detals at the local cop shop....I left my Olympus water proof camera on the grass & drove off on a crowded day, it was handed in.
Good luck!

Dymo labels are water proof and have hung on my kiteboards for at least 300 hours.

I got a call from some people who found a board on the beach. It was one I sold 2-3 years earlier.
