I have not checked the weight but I'm sure it's lighter than my 12'6" Glide (also GS construction).. The weight felt pretty good (guessing about 13-14kg).. The new handle for 2014 makes the boards feel lighter.. No surprises.. IMO the board looks awesome.. It seemed to have less flex than the lighter carbon GX version but I wasn't paddling it long enough to know for sure.

My wife would have killed me by now if I had so many new boards. For me the secret is to try and get a new board that looks very similar to my last board so that she will say " You really look after your board. It always looks so new." 1/2 your luck DJ,my wife is an accountant,when questioned by her on what i was doing with my tax refund i answered 'new board'.Lets just say the financial controller wasn't happy with that answer so i am still figuring out a plan to save my ears some grief before i buy another.
