was good for SUPing not for winds sports.

SUP surf event was run at beachport in 2ft side offshore (sometimes semi strong) winds. 24 entrants.

(i have mixed reports about who won, but i think i'm correct)

1st/2nd Cam Gilles Warrnambool/JP
2nd/1st Tom White torquay coast/STARBOARD
3rd josh fletcher sydney/FANATIC

race was run from town beach to 3rd ramp, in light tail wind.
36 entrants.

2nd Nat Gohl Adelaide/FANATIC
3rd Clayton's mate Adelaide/FANATIC
(sorry mate, didn't catchya name, and as i was hungover for the race i'll take all the blame for, me not introducing myself)

there was a solid 3ft wave at the finish, similar to the Paddle to Battle MS in sydney so a few spots changed within the last couple of hundred metres.

the sunday arvo ladies paddle was also super successful.

since my last robe classic (2 years ago) the number and level of SUP paddlers in SA has grown a tonne.
its great to see.
