How classic is Jackson Close, he started SUP no more than 3 months ago!

He rips no less on a Mal, fully sponsored etc he was funny to watch at the beginning, could hardly stand up to paddle but caught a wave and was popping the fins by his 3rd wave..... hah! This would not be much of an exaggeration.

Super stoked for Noel as well. Here's some Intel on Noel. He used to be on the pro tour. Had a 'Robot' pro model and everything. Ripper from the old school.

I went up to noosa twice to have a look and really only seen about 4or so heats but the surfing was good its a pity the conditions were ****yy for the final. From what i watched on the net it could have gone to anyone in the final and came down to wave selection. Well done to Billy he trains hard and works for what he gets so it's a no wonder he's at the pointy end all the time.

Watch out i'm back at the Malfunction

Hey Guys the final was something else!

The conditions may have been ordinary to say the least but the Supping was smoking hot!

Billy Watson was a man on a mission they had to call him back out of the water once or maybe even twice he was so pumped before the start of the final.

When Billy finaly was allowed in the water his wave sellection was good but his determination to hit eveyr lip and bust huge manouvers was evident from 30 seconds in.

Keahi started out slow but man he brought home the goods, the Air he busted at about the 20min mark literally had the mal boys eyes popping out. Keahi for my money was totally shreading best supping I have ever seen.

I believe it would have been hard to pick 1 and 2 but for total commitment Billy may have had the edge but for holding the crowd in his hand Keaki had the moves.

Congrats to all who made it to Noosa in the first place and took on the variable conditions you had to see it yourself to see just how hard it really was.

The Open final last heat of the day was just as smoking hot!

Just worries me in a world were people are destructive instead on constructive, especially in a great sport like SUP. Post and be heard. If you don't like it, move on. If you feel you can comment or ad, then go ahead. Use your name and be proud of your existence, don't hide like a coward giggling to your teddy bear cause you think your some kind of forum cop who evaluates hidden meanings and product pushing coded with in an imaginary phrase in a topic which your to scared to contribute to. I'll always try to post positively, and if I can help someone enjoy the sport more from anything I have shared, that's an awesome feeling.

NO .. there is no list of red thumbers of available.

For example, I'd suggest that posting here is not much different to being before an audience, like the cricket or footy. There are a huge swarm of views.

So ... just like at the cricket / footy, the "viewers" are "allowed" to express their opinion without having to hand over their drivers license to be ID'd for it (unless it gets a bit ugly).. i.e. booing / cheering.

All part of the fun..
