I've been wanting to go up to the Gold Coast sometime in the next month or so. I want to leave on Friday and come back sometime on Monday.
I just got posted an offer from the Gold Coast International Hotel for a winter deal of $79.00 per night (twin share) 5 star hotel. Flights are around $150 each way, from Melbourne, we can hire a car and hire boards up there.
Thanks Angie, I booked my tickets 12 - 15th Sept - took the Monday off as what my work calls "a slumber day" - never heard the term before, but apparently I get paid for it.
I'll stay at my brother in laws place at tweed heads, I'll give you a call and hopefully we can organise a sub for him - I know he's going to absolutely love it. I'm bringing my Uli and paddle with me. I'm predicting the conditions are going to be great - cause it's been fricken miserable here - can't wait, I'm really looking forward to it. I'm starting to have serious withdrawal symptoms from not going out.
