A couple of us are meeting at LaBalsa Park (Buddina) at 3:30pm today for a paddle across the bay. Depending on conditions we may do a short sprint (about 20min) to Alex Surf Club or longer one (about 30 to 40min) to the Boat Shed resturant in Maroochydore. Will decide when we get there.

Anyone who is interested feel free to come along. We keep an eye on each other for those with less experience so feel free to join in.

Finish up with some fish an chips with the families at the finish spot.

We are looking at doing this more regularly on Sunday arvos. Just social and for a bit of fitness.
Paddle destinations depend on the wind.

ESE expected this arvo at 11 knots

Come on PT. It was still T'shirt and boardies weather.

Water was that clear that we could see everything on the bottom 20' below. Absolutely fantastic. Finished off with with Fish & Chips and home now at 6:30pm to put the kids to bed. Gotta love Qld.

Do it again next Sunday. Morning surf followed by arvo downwinder. More the merrier.

I'm keen to come along, Just waiting for my COREBAN SUP ALPHA RACE 14'0" as I assume you are using a long race board, Yes? Or is there a mix of boards as then it won't be to hard to keep up in a 11 or 12 footer, Great Idea though nice casual paddle. Like it!
Can you putt a post up on sat or send out a TX. Cool

Allan and I were talking about it and thought anyone with a smaller board or with the need could just get a 10 to 20 minute head start just so we finish about the same time. Also keeps everyone in view. Also for those wishing to do longer distances, which we do wish to from time to time, we could have an earlier start from the more distant starting point.

We are on the 14' Naish. We thought it would be good for something social and a bit of fitness.

Happy to post on Saturdays. What is a TX?
