Hi, my name is Dean a.k.a Meahuna. I’m a prone paddleboarder on the Gold Coast. I am posting this topic to publicly apologise to Downwinder a.k.a Phil. My posts/comments I left were defamatory, rude, and demeaning towards Downwinder. Downwinder and I have met in person and I have apologised personally. What was intended to be in light humour was in fact, offensive. We both agree it is possible to go ‘sub 5’ with the right conditions and sorted out the calculation of pace as I was being pedantic. I never intend to be rude or offensive to anyone.
