Only my second post but am looking for some help from the breeze community. The family and I are heading to Audley in the Royal National Park (Sydney) today for a picnic with some friends and I was keen on getting dropped off and paddling up from Swallow Rock. Does anyone know if there is a decent spot to get out at the weir, I'll be on a 14'0 Carbon Falcon and not keen on carting it over rocks etc. cheers

Unfortunately due to the inclement weather the picnic was cancelled so I never got the chance to go for a paddle but thanks for the feedback I'll remember it for next time.

There is a brand new wharf and pontoon at Audley with a low side to assist to putting in a kayak/sup/canoe only problem is the this new wharf is nnnnooooo where near the car parks. WTF some pen pusher prob said "put it um.... there."

Reids Flats on the North East of the weir has a good car park with steps down to a sand/silt/mud beach. Heading in from Loftus, turn left just before crossing the weir.

Yeah it makes for a good trip, I've paddled from swallow rock before but didn't go all the way to the weir so wasn't sure of the situation. I was considering putting in at the Marina at Cronulla looks like it would be a decent trip.

I put in between the Marina and the Baths 2 - 3 times a week and paddle down and around to Salmon Haul a quick swim and back
generally takes around 15 - 24 mins each way depending on wind the longest its taken was 30 min to outside the old fisheries where I battled a SSW breeze
all up around an hour

Be mindful of the tide as it really rips near the entrance to Dolans Bay...
