Hi All, long time no post - been Mtn Biking too much lately

Anyway with the Aussie Titles coming up in a bit over 4 weeks, entries have to be in by this Friday. Problem is there are 3 different prices lol.

The Surfing QLD site states $160 per Surfing Event and $110 per Racing event.

Surfing NSW states states $150 per Surfing Event and $100 per Racing event.

Yet the competitor bulletin sent out by email (from Surfing NSW) states states $121 per Surfing Event and $70 per Racing event.

Big freaken difference when you are in 3 events - 2 of em surfing!!

I have asked for some clarification from Surfing NSW, still awaiting a reply. Anyone else confused?

I believe the $121/$70 is the base Surfing Australia prices that the individual state branches need to pay to Surfing Australia. The $150/$100 is the Surfing NSW competitors fee which includes the team merchandise and admin fees. The Surfing QLD prices probably work the same (but the QLD team must be getting better shirts!).

John, we have been leading HIM astray I think, 2 Canberra races in the last 2 months.

Be good to catch up with everyone next month. Just had 8 days up there (the Goldy), never got over waist/chest high but some OK beachies.

Nationals clash with VCE exams and as much as I want to go I cant Justify running out on my classes at the most critical point of the school year.
