yeah he plays hard and fast, but i was watching him- didn't even have a sweat up and looked more composed and calmer than the ref. he also gets away with near murder then chats to the ref like an old mate. i"ll have him on my side if i ever have to go to court

anyway, where were we_________

At least he did the right thing and told the boys not to infringe again after being spoken to by the ref. I note that your captain chose not to and Drew got the punishment shortly afterwards. A shame.

haha, our captain was looking like he had already played 2 games all ready. he was stewing that much he probably didn't even know what the ref was saying to him.

just let rocky play at what he does best and give the captaincy to someone else

I agree, but the problem is who?? None of the current Super 14 captains are regular run on players for the Wallabies - well maybe Will Genia, but he has only just secured his place. Maybe when Horwill is fit there will be another option.

sell the banana BP - felt like a bulldozer to me.

I'm not knocking the brand, my first sup was 10'6" Naish, it went o.k.

I don't get the 30+ board thing, seems like stability is more important than performance - philosophy must be - get the punters out there, never mind about needing the skills to be there in the first place.

I guess 30" would work o.k if the plan-shape didn't look like it was suffering from too much KFC & the rocker was not so banana'esque

I find the mana great, but yes no real speed to it, reason why i have out grown it so quick. But for the rider who wants to cruzz only its great.

I want more performance now i.e 9'0 naish or the finatic

When you say no speed, do you mean when paddling for a wave or when you are on the wave?

Is it true you are selling after only 2 weeks. I'm new to the forum and sup and that seems a bit fast unless you're a total whizz?

No, i have had this board longer than that, But i have also done a few hours on it also.

I depends what you want from a board, Longboard style short board style or something inbetween like the mana 9'5

But make no mistake, you do need a wide stable board to learn on.

I have been lucky enough to have been able to pick it up quick, But i also surf and from other sports i have done have great ballance.

But in saying that my next board will not be a walk in the park at all.
Im not saying i am a **** hot sup rider, I am just ready for another steep in my supping.

I think that wqas the wrong thing to say, I love the mana for sure i have had it in knee high to head high surf.
It is fast, And paddles fast also But when i am on the wave it is a real longboard style for myself at my weight 88kg.

It is a dream of a board to learn on, But when i surf it in a decent size or even adverage size waves i want more out of the board.

As my favourite wave is a 3 ft wave i want to move to a board that has more moves under its belt If you get my meaning.
For someone who wants a all round board that is real easy to paddle and surf then its great, It has leap froged me quicker than expected

First day i ever took it out i never got wet, FLAT WATER

its tough for you boys as you have lost 8 first string players for the seasonn whilst we are relatively injury free for a change. I finally found some vision of Mitchells first yellow card - blame the infamous Caplan for that one.

I think Caplan has tried to take on the Andre Watson mantra of siding with any team playing against the Wallabies. But then I do fail to understand how Craig Joubert expects any tackler stuck at the bottom of the ruck to roll away. That was continually happened to both teams, you would expect a bit of common sence.

from foxsports.com

Wallabies winger Drew Mitchell should not have been sent off in Saturday night's Bledisloe Cup loss to New Zealand, IRB referees boss Paddy O'Brien has confirmed.

Mitchell was dismissed for the first time in his Test career when he received a second yellow card for deliberately knocking the ball down, handing the All Blacks a decisive advantage from which they went on to dismantle the Wallabies 49-28.

But O'Brien said Mitchell's first yellow card, awarded for what South African touch judge Cobus Wessels described as a "late and dangerous tackle", should not have been awarded.

Mitchell was cleared of suspension by SANZAR; and Wessels has subsequently been stood down from Saturday night's return Test in Christchurch, with O'Brien hoping the touch judge will learn from two incorrect decisions.

Ahhh thats soo not fair. I am surprised more was not made of it at the time. It was weird having no idea at the time why he was off (probably noise at the Pub) but there were no replays or anything.

Lets hope both teams get a fair crack from the ref this week. Consistency is all we ask for - especially at the breakdown.
