Been a while since I have been on here or set foot on my SUP - personal and business reasons have kept me flat out 24/7. But this weekend I escaped with my 2 lads, who are now huge compared to when I last posted, and the 3 of us have had 5 days SUPing on the west coast of Anglesey in old, original Wales.

Picking up small swells that reformed over and over, providing rides of up to 200 yards was amazing - almost as much fun as watching the prone guys sitting on the beach looking for bigger waves - now thoroughly back into SUP and planning to escape again on Friday.

Welcome back Roger. I heard on the radio they're expecting 29 degrees C at Wimbledon today. Hope your getting some of that weather.

Evening all!

We usually head for Rhosneigr or Cable Bay, the long rides were in Rhos. We were also entertained by Chinooks, Hercules and Hawks from RAF Valley, as well as a sweepstake on whether William was piloting the big yellow chopper. Just loaded the camper back up with kit and 3 SUPs, and after watching DJ's video, three rigs just in case there's a breeze.

A quick message for all you Welsh speakers: Mae'r postmyn hwyliog yn darparu gwasanaeth bendigedig

I usually stand three feet further away from the welsh, splashing distance
seriously beautiful in mid to north wales.

The service provided by Royal Mail must have benefitted from my departure (2001 Bangor office).
