Easy done if you're a 5ft tall lightweight on a 200lt board. That would be the equivalent of me doing it standing on a small boat... actually, I'd probably fall trying it anyways.

Not sure how I feel about the paddle leash. I know at times it would be useful but it would be just one more thing to wrap around my fin and tangle up with my legrope in a strong downwinder. Probs not too necessary on flatwater.
