Heading to Bali mid March. Will be in Nusa Dua then Channgu. Need advice on best spots, would consider myself reasonable to a little over head hight (but I am pretty short!). Would appreciate some tips. Thanks fellas
Sanur reef - my mate lives there and goes out there on his JP all the time. Best thing is that it is Stand Up friendly - meaning the locals are used to seing Sups out there. Another good place is a bit south of echo beach. Im not sure the exact name but have the co-ordinates for you -8.665532,115.135891 it is a beach break but when it hits 3ft+ on a high tide - there is a nice soft wave out the back. Perfect for sup.
Yep agree Sanur good place to start, Simzy reef excellent and uncrowded next to the tower, channel gets a bit closed out at lower tides and a longish paddle out there. I think it is offshore at that time of year. We went October and was onshore after 9-10am most days. Jankie's hire is fine and one of his guys will show you around the spots if required.
