I'm going to Bali last week of august, first week of september.
Any good tips about where to go, where to SUP, where to stay (really low budget) etc...?
I'm making my own research as well, but some of you have probably more indo experience than me
Also, if someone is planning to go there on the same dates, just let me know.

Yeah,
same person...
For SUPS there are basically 3 places where to go:
1- Sanur that has the biggest choice of spot, all reef break.
Problem is the wind on shore but by end of August should be ok, at least no wind till 10am. Quite cheap from about 10 A$. Need medium to high tide minimum 0.9.
2- Canggu at Tugu and old man, most of the SUPPER go there, wind start later and is mostly side shore, problem a tons of surfer, longboarders and surf school.
Not much places here..... need to stay in Seminyak.. all tides
3- Kuta Reef, wind is totally off shore, between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, ther are at least 2-3 good break with no too many people.
Can stay in Kuta and paddle out from Kuta Beach to the reef or take a boat. Need Medium to high tide minimum 1.2.

I was chating to you at cott on monday in the carpark,I just remembered you from Xmas at Pedros in Lano a yr ago.
I will be in bali from the 6 of sept for 2 wks hope to sup on the eastcoast,Will you still be there then ?

check out balian river mouth - about 1.5 hrs drive west nw from kuta - if kuta is 1ft this place is still head high - a total swell magnet!! And great shaped bank due to the river mouth.
and if you keep going there is a great longboarding wave further up the coast - not so powerful but VERy long point break.
