My wife and I are going to be staying in Bali for April and wanted to ask around for some suggestions. We both are experienced surfers and I sup, and hopefully bringing my new sup as well. We are currently looking around west bukit but are open to suggestions. We are really relaxed and not into the party or tourist scene at all. I'm open to any ideas as to where to stay, this is a new area for me to explore. Thanks

Balian was really good this time last year, a long way away from the hustle and bustle, good fun waves and cruisy vibe.
Mainly Yoga retreats in the area which adds to the relaxed vibe.

I second that..went to Bali April last year and found sanur to be perfect. Good waves and not overcrowded

Balian is a bit of a drive but is a fantastic spot, waves here can get pretty epic as well as it tends to pick up more swell than just about anywhere else on the island.

I wasn't even thinking about the east coast, didn't think it works around that time of year. Thanks I'll look into it. Medewi popped up on my radar as well, maybe a week there...
