Hi Guys,
I've seen that video twice before and just can't watch it again here. The most cringeworthy video ever. You can only understand it fully when you have had a Phantom to admire at close range. No board is finished with the perfect detail of the Phantom.
Yes they are expensive, but you get more than just a paddle board, to me it is a piece of fine art that just happens to paddle well. I don't reckon these boards are targeted at the average punter looking for a lightweight board to win races on, they are made for the buyer who wants a truly unique and beautifully crafted fast board.
The Phantom isn't the fastest board on the market, you won't start winning races just because you paddle on one, although they won't hold you back either. If you have to ask the price of one of these, then it really isn't the board for you and thats OK. There are lots of other fast and stable, very decent boards on the market, but I haven't seen any other board that looks as beautiful as the Phantoms, they are a credit to the dedication of Joe Bark and Surftech. The paintwork is immaculate, the finish, perfect, the alignment of the trim in the deck grip is spot on. I can't fault the one we have and I've been over it with a fine tooth comb.
The devil really is in the detail. I hope to own the last one on the shelf in our store someday.

PS. No disrespect Dogman, but I can't believe they let you loose on one
