After seeing the turnout at Eastern Beach Saturday, I thought I would see if anyone in the Geelong/Ocean Grove/Torquay areas would be interested in meeting up once in a while for a paddle either in the surf or flat water? I am fairly new to SUP but learning quickly and am looking for other like-minded paddlers who would like to extend their social group out on the water. I'm not the best or the fastest, so no pressure there. I live in Highton and tend to frequent Ocean Grove and the Barwon River as they are familiar, but I am happy to try out any other places as well. It's all the same to me to drive to Torquay or Eastern Beach.

I have posted this in the Club Talk forum as well, but added it here to maximize exposure.

If you were at the EB event, I may have talked to a couple of you interested in the same, but unfortunately didn't get any names. I was one of the 'big' guys wearing a grey hat, white shirt and yellow/white/green boardies. If interested send me a message or reply.

What day of the week works for you ? Im thinking of a Saturday early morning 7.00 am meet up at various locations depending on conditions but to mix it up a bit....

I've met a lot of great people on this site, unfortunately most are in Melbourne which .akes it difficult for the casual meet up.
