hmmmm.......thats the way the wave formed.......sorry, seriously answering this could be out of my skill set. This was from red marker in the nth of the bay and its either straight or left depending on swell size.

Others more qualified might have other solutions

Greg, I just realised the "IDIOCY" of my question.
I can't watch videos at work. So I can only see a single frame at the start which shows you going left.
From my days living and surfing down there "The Bay" was a lovely little right hander that went forever sometimes.
Please pardon this SOB. Taht is"Silly Old Bugger".

Was at the bay early yesterday and had an awesome time. Went there today a bit later and it wasn't so good. About half an hour after getting there a howling gale started blowing and turned it all to chop. Was very crowded too. Not much of a line up, bit free for all.
Still a fantastic sup wave though.

No it was dont leave the eastern suburbs for what was on offer at that time........and yes it can get busy when its big........

Today was super windy but great fun on the 14....
Also if anyone finds some black Oakley sunnies with polarised lenses can you let me know. They came off somewhere between the red tide marker and the 3rd house from the end. Great wave but I really liked those sunnies.
