Hi all, have been lurking around here for a while and am relatively new to SUP.
I have been honing my skills for a few months on the bay and was thinking of taking a trip to the surf this weekend as it looks like it will be nice and warm. As I suspect I will be spending 90% of the time in the water, I am looking for somewhere safe and quiet with relatively small surf and have been scouring the surf forecasts to the point of complete confusion.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice sup friendly beginners beach?

Which direction are you planning to go - east or west?

Was thinking Flinder or somewhere around there probably.

The local crew will probably scalp me but I believe Pines, Shoreham is the go for you down that way. Someone with better local knowledge than me might be able to correct this.
