Hello all,
Been reading this forum for about three weeks now and have just bought my first paddle board( 11' NSP 2nd hand from a surf school) and need to buy a paddle.
This will be used for flat water only.
I was at the ROAR contest on Sunday and, after feeling how heavy an alloy shaft is, I decided to spend up to $300 to get something lighter.
I have seen some no name full carbon ones around for this price or brand name paddles with just a composite shaft for the same price.
The 2010 Naish composite model looks like a possible winner. (This is why all companies should have displays with reps at contests)
Is there any difference between the new and older models apart from the graphics on the blade.
I'm just so eager to jump on and start paddling but don't want to make a hastened decision on the paddle which I may regret.
Cheers
