Just a few pics of my new paddle. Paddling with the 10" has made using a 9" easier.

sorry to get off topic a little.... But I'm interested in those attachment points you've got in the front of your board in the last pic.
What are they and where'd ya get em'?
Are they nice n solid or do you get a bit of cracking around the edge with some lateral force?

The Coast Runner comes with 18 stainless steel screw points (refer to current posting under Laird Coast Runner on forum). I am sure you could get them retro fitted somewhere. I will take more pics next couple of days showing close up. I purchased plastic tap washers and shock cord from Bunnings for under $20. Great for carrying extra gear.

My shoulders hurt just looking at the pictures.. Nice paddle though..

Do they make them any smaller.. and with an oval shaft..

Good advice on the float. I normally carry the key in my boardies pocket. On this occasion I had my camera in my pocket. I take your point - if I lose it I'll be up sh__ creek (at least I'll have a paddle).
Re: DJ. I know it's like showing a picture of a Ford to a Holden man.
